It has been a bit since my last post, so I thought I’d check in and let everyone know that I am very much still drinking beer. I’m sure you were all very worried.
Over the last 6 weeks or so, I got myself back in the gym and have been committed to working towards a healthy lifestyle. Part of that included cutting back on things that I love to eat/drink, including beer. I told myself that as long as I continue to work out and eat generally well during the week, I can still enjoy my brews on the weekends. Yes, I’ve taken on a “sober during the work week” commitment, which is easier on some days than others but I’ve done pretty well so far!
This has nothing to do with an unhealthy addiction to beer, but everything to do with my aversion to having a beer belly. Let me tell you, the beer belly is real, my friends! It just became a bummer to not fit into my pants so well, but by cutting back I can drink while still being able to fit into my pants! Win!
I will be checking back in again soon with new adventures up ahead, including a visit to the Stone mothership later on this month!
